What we do with your information

Short version: if you send us your name and number, we use it to get back to you about your inquiry. We don't sell it and we don't add you to anything you didn't ask for.

What we collect

Only what you type into a form on this site — your name, phone number, email address and whatever you tell us about your boat or what you're looking for. There is no account to create and no login.

What we do with it

It goes to our sales or service desk so somebody can call you back. That's the whole purpose. We keep a record of the inquiry the same way we keep a record of a phone call, so we can pick the conversation back up later.

After you inquire

Once you've sent us an inquiry from this browser, we remember it — so that when you come back to look at a boat again, the person helping you can see which pages you visited and pick up where you left off, instead of starting the conversation from zero. That's the whole use: it goes to your salesperson and nowhere else.

Until you send an inquiry, none of this happens — browsing this site anonymously stays anonymous: we still do not know who you are, and unless you accept the cookie bar nothing is stored on your device at all. The memory lives in your own browser and expires on its own after six months; clearing your browser data removes it sooner, and you can just ask us to delete the history on our side — call or email and it's done.

Text messages

If you give us a mobile number — on a form here, at the counter, or over the phone — we may text you about the thing you contacted us about: your boat, the day it is booked in, the work on it, or an inquiry you sent. That is the whole use. It is never a condition of buying or booking anything, and we do not send marketing blasts.

How many texts depends on the job — a winterization with a date change is a few, a quiet boat is none. Your carrier’s message and data rates may apply; the texts themselves cost you nothing from us. Reply STOP to any of them and we stop, immediately and for good, unless you text START to turn them back on. Reply HELP and you get our phone number back. You can also just tell whoever you are dealing with and we will take you off.

We do not sell your mobile number, and we never share it with anybody else for their marketing or promotional purposes — not affiliates, not partners, not advertisers. The only outside company that sees it is the carrier that has to deliver the message, which is how a text works. It sits in the same record as the rest of your inquiry, and it goes when that goes — see getting your information removed below.

The chat assistant

If you use the chat bubble, the conversation is kept on our side for 7 days so we can check the assistant gave you straight answers, then it deletes itself. It isn't linked to you — no cookie, no account, no IP address, just the words of the conversation. Don't type anything into the chat you wouldn't say over the counter.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell or rent your details to anyone
  • We don't ask for payment details, card numbers or bank details on this website
  • We don't show you adverts from other companies on these pages
  • We don't track anyone who hasn't sent us an inquiry by name — and never by IP address or device, only by the inquiry you chose to send

Cookies and our advertising

We advertise on Google, and since 14 September 2026 this site carries Google's advertising tag so we can tell which adverts actually bring somebody to us. It is the only advertising tag on the site.

Nothing is stored on your device until you say yes. The tag starts in a mode where it may not write cookies, and the bar at the bottom of the page asks you before that changes. Press No thanks and it stays that way for good — no cookies from us, and the site behaves in exactly the same way. Press That's fine and Google may set a cookie that tells us an advert led to a visit.

Your answer is remembered in your own browser's storage rather than in a cookie, so saying no really does leave nothing behind. Clearing your browser data forgets the answer and we will ask again. We never see your name or your email through the tag — only that a visit happened.

Third parties on this site

Two things on this site are loaded from elsewhere and are worth knowing about. Videos are hosted on YouTube — we use the no-cookie player and nothing loads from YouTube until you actually press play. The map on our contact page is a Google Maps embed, which Google may log as it would any visit to a map. Nothing else on the site is third-party.

Finance applications

If you go ahead with financing, the actual application happens directly with the lender on their own secure system — not through this website. We will never ask for your social security number or bank details by email or through a form here.

Getting your information removed

Ask us and we'll do it. Call (302) 436-1737 or use the contact form and say so.
