Accessibility
Everyone gets to use the site
We built this site so it works with a keyboard, with a screen reader, with the text turned up, and on a phone with a poor signal at a boat ramp.
What we've done
- Real headings and landmarks so a screen reader can navigate the page properly
- Every control reachable and visible when you tab to it
- Text sized in relative units, so your browser's larger-text setting scales the whole page
- Descriptive text on images that carry meaning, and none on the decorative ones
- Color contrast checked against WCAG 2.1 AA for body text and controls
- Motion kept minimal, and switched off entirely if your device asks for reduced motion
- Videos load only when you press play, so nothing autoplays sound at you
Where we know it falls short
The map on our contact page is a Google embed and we don't control what it does. If it gets in your way, the address is written out in text right beside it and we're happy to give directions over the phone.
Tell us
If something on this site stops you doing what you came to do, we want to hear about it β it's a fault, and we'll fix it. Call (302) 436-1737 or use the contact form. If the website is the barrier, ring us and we'll do whatever it was over the phone.
