The most common fork in the road on our lot: two 26-foot center consoles, both Yamaha-powered, both excellent — built for two different people. Since we sell, rig and service both, we don't need to talk you into either.
The short version
The Cobia 265 CC is the most boat for the money in its class. Up to 500 horsepower, 161 gallons of fuel, a tournament-grade fishing layout, and a price that leaves room in the budget for the electronics package you actually want. It's the boat for the buyer who fishes first and asks questions later.
The Pursuit S 268 is the yacht of the two. The fit and finish are a class above — the joinery, the upholstery, the hardware, the standard equipment list. It fishes properly, but its buyer is usually splitting weekends between the canyons and the raw bar, and wants to do both from the nicest boat on the dock. Pursuit doesn't let us advertise its price, which tells you roughly where it sits; ask and we'll give you a real number the same day.

Who should buy which
- Buy the Cobia 265 if the boat's job is fishing, the crew is mostly anglers, and you'd rather put the difference into a second Helm Master screen and a season of fuel.
- Buy the Pursuit S 268 if the boat has two jobs — fish Saturday, entertain Sunday — and the way a boat is finished matters to you every time you step aboard.
