Paula Johnson runs financing at RT 113. She puts the deal in front of marine lenders that write boat loans every day, and gets you terms in writing before anybody signs. A local bank will often treat a 32 foot Pursuit like a jet ski.

Tell us the boat and the budget
The cards above, or a call. We say what is realistic before anybody runs credit, including whether a different down payment or a season's wait gets you a better boat.
We put it to marine lenders
Our desk's secure application takes about 10 minutes. Your Social Security number goes on the lender's own site, never ours.
You get terms in writing
Rate, term, payment and what they need from you, before anything is signed. No surprises at the desk.
Know what you want? Apply online
The same secure credit application our desk uses. About 10 minutes, straight to the marine lenders we work with every day. Rates on an approval hold for 60 days.

Financing questions we get every week
Can my trade count as the down payment?
Yes. The lender counts cash and net trade together. Get a trade value first and you know how far it goes. If you would rather sell the boat you have first, here is how we buy, broker and trade boats.
What moves the rate?
Your credit score most, then how much you put down against the price, then the boat's age. A shorter term can take a quarter point off on loans over $50,000.
Does a used boat cost more to finance?
On loans under $100,000 the lender adds a quarter to a full point for a 2022 or older boat. Over $100,000 the age does not change the rate.
What do I see before signing?
The rate, the term, the payment and what the lender needs from you, in writing.
Can I apply online?
Yes, with the button above. It is the lender's secured application, about 10 minutes.
Is there a minimum?
Marine loans start at $5,000. Under $25,000 the terms are shorter and the rates higher.
