Yard & Transportation Manager
Responsibilities include
Managing 2-3 employees
Working with service and sales to schedule yard work to be preformed
Using forklifts and tractors to block and unload boats
Manage customer deliveries and coordinate with service
Maintain weekly yard schedules
Manages the services of equipment and yard trailers
Manage general yard appearance and maintenance
Manage / assist in the shrink-wrapping and uncovering of boats
Relay needs of the yard to dealership principals
Work with sales in new boat staging / transport
Prerequisites
Minimum 2 years experience in the marine industry
Clean driving record
Fork Lift certification a plus
Experience with heavy equipment a plus
Experience with shrink wrapping a plus
Knowledge of boat yard processes & procedures a plus
