Service Manager
Responsibilities include
Greeting and scheduling customers
Creating work orders with customers
Relaying clearly to technicians what is needed and expected on a job
Working with parts manager to secure needed parts for jobs
Managing Technician & Yard schedules
Scheduling new boat rigging with sales
Handling customer calls & troubleshooting
Co-ordinating new product training and continuing education
Relaying needs of the service department to dealership principals
Maintain service department reports for dealership principals
Prerequisites
Minimum 5 years experience in the marine industry
Clean driving record
Previous experience / certifications in Yamaha service
Experience with large center consoles a plus
Experience with Lightspeed Evo a plus
Experience with Helm Master a plus
